Beachside Hilton Head Island opened in May 2008 with Stephanie Hoke at the helm. She envisioned a boutique style vacation rental company specializing in Sea Pines properties with a focus on providing guests with more than a place to rest their head... she desired to offer them unparallel customer service and insights to all the attractions which make Hilton Head Island a world-class destination

Our History

Stephanie was joined by her husband, Todd, in June 2018 after a successful banking career. Todd & Stephanie are true ambassadors for the island and enjoy sharing with vacationers everything they cherish about the paradise they call home.

Meet the Dynamic Duo


Stephanie Hoke


Born on Hilton Head Island, island resident for combined 24 years


Highschool- Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN

Undergraduate- Southern Methodist University, Finance Major and Business Management Major

Stephanie was born on Hilton Head Island and lived the first few years of her life in Sea Pines. Her father’s successful banking career moved her family to Columbia, SC, Atlanta, GA, Potomac, MD and Chattanooga, TN until landing in Dallas, TX for college. In the midst of all the relocations, Hilton Head Island remained “home” to Stephanie while spending many summers in Sea Pines. After 4 years of being landlocked in Dallas, Stephanie desired to back “home” on Hilton Head Island. She began her busines career at a local insurance agency working her way from entry level service position to a department manager. But after 5 years in the insurance industry, she deciding it was time for a career change. Stephanie has a strong desire for constant educational growth leading her to obtain a real estate license. After working for a mid-sized property management company, she decided it was time to step out on her own. Beachside Hilton Head Island was born from Stephanie’s desire to be different, and better than the rest. Over the past 12 years she has grown Beachside Hilton Head Island organically, even with a few owners on program being past guests. With strong communication and transparency, Stephanie has remained focused on providing owners and guests with a relationship-based approach to property management. She could not have been more thrilled to welcome her husband, Todd, to the team in 2018 after a successful banking career. Stephanie & Todd bring complimenting strengths to Beachside and as a team share strong work ethic alongside desire to exceed guest & owner expectations. Although both are heavily involved in all aspects of the busines, Stephanie’s main job titles include Broker-in-Charge, Director of Operations, Director of Accounting, Guest Services and Lead Inspector.


Todd Hoke


Born in Kettering, Ohio, Hilton Head Island resident for 24 years


Highschool- Bay Village Highschool, Bay Village, OH

Undergraduate- Bowling Green State University, Finance Major

Like many residents of Hilton Head Island, Todd is a transplant from Ohio. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Todd went in search of a job focusing solely on coastal towns along the east coast where he could enjoy his favorite pastime, surfing. A banking job presented itself, and although he had never been to Hilton Head Island, with the enthusiasm he displays in all aspects of life, he packed up and moved south…and has not left the island since. Todd worked up the ranks in the banking industry starting as a Commercial Analyst and retiring as Chief Credit Officer upon the sale of a local community bank which he helped start. Anyone who knows Todd will agree he is a “number’s guy”. He appreciates the insights gained by ongoing data analysis, using this valuable information to offer recommendations for additional business growth & success. Todd enjoys building relationships, whether it is with local businesses, property owners or vacationers. But his strengths do not stop there, he is also exceptionally handy at tackling maintenance issues. Guests and owners alike appreciate Todd’s skills at resolving most maintenance issues himself. This “in-house” approach is not only beneficial to property owner by having full insight of the issue and resulting repair, but it also gives him the opportunity to further personalize our contact with guests. Although he is willing & eager to help whenever & however needed, Todd’s main job titles are Realtor, Pricing Strategist, Director of Property Procurement, Owner Services, Maintenance Manager & Lead Handyman (and in our opinion, the highest quality & most affordable on the island!).
