Hilton Head’s Sea Pines Resort is a great place to spend your vacation. It offers several recreational activities, such as boating, golfing, and fine dining. However, it can be tiring to walk or bike your way from one location to another. Fortunately, the resort has a complimentary transportation service called the Sea Pines Trolley. Read on to learn more about the trolleys and where they can take you, compliments of the short-term rental agency Beachside Hilton Head.
The Sea Pines Trolley will provide trolley service to the RBC Heritage tournament from Monday, April 15th through Sunday, April 21st from 7am to 10pm. View/download the 2024 RBC Heritage trolley map and schedule here.
The trolly service covers three color-coded routes. There’s the blue route that begins at the Harbour Town Trolley Stop and ends at the Sea Pines Beach Club. Take this route if you’re planning to stop over at villas like the Racquet Club or Plantation and Golf Club villas. You can also choose this route if you want to take a dip at the Harbour Town swimming pool.
If shopping is in your itinerary, you should take the green route. This route runs from the Harbour Town Trolley Stop all the way to South Beach and The Shops at Sea Pines Center. Several products like liquor, jewelry, and fresh produce are sold in this shopping center. There are likewise many restaurants to choose from.
The last route is the red route. It extends from the Greenwood Drive Trolley Stop up to Harbour Town. Trolleys taking this route also stop at The Shops at Sea Pines Center. Moreover, they can take you to the Lawton Stable where you and your friends can go on trail and pony rides or hang out at an animal farm.
The trolley service to the Blue, Green and Red Routes will operate with the following service times:

GREEN ROUTE
Runs from the Harbour Town Trolley Stop to South Beach and stops at The Shops at Sea Pines Center
RED ROUTE
Runs from the Greenwood Drive Trolley Stop to Harbour Town and makes stops at Lawton Stables and The Shops at Sea Pines Center

Not all passengers and items are allowed to enter the trolley. For instance, pets and unattended children below 10 years old are not allowed to ride. Moreover, passengers should wear appropriate clothing and avoid eating while on the trolley. Otherwise, the driver can ask the non-compliant passengers to depart the vehicle.
Furthermore, weapons like knives and guns are prohibited. Other items like non-collapsible fishing gear and liquor in open containers are also not allowed.
Sea Pines trolleys are convenient transportation systems that will help you get around the Sea Pines Resort. While there are restrictions and rules you have to follow when riding these trolleys, the fact that the service is free still makes it amazing.
