Upon entering the front door of Carolina Place, you're instantly greeted by the light and airy nature of the home. With a foyer that has access to everything in the house, there's no wrong turn. Directly on the right is the primary bedroom with a king bed, smart TV, sitting area, walk in closet and attached bathroom. This large but cozy room also has a door leading out to the wrap around deck. The luxurious primary bathroom has a glass tile shower, dual sinks and a large soaking bathtub. No detail was spared in ensuring this bathroom is truly grand.

To the left of the front door you'll find the first guest bedroom with a queen bed, smart TV, closet, and ensuite bathroom. The shower in the second bathroom is a beautiful glass tile standing shower. Just off the hallway to this bedroom is the laundry room where you'll find a large sink, washer and dryer. We even include unlimited laundry pods for your stay.

If you walk straight through the foyer, you'll enter the main living area. With high ceilings and an open concept floor plan, the kitchen, dining and living room are sure to please. The kitchen is centered by a large island with 5 barstools and beautiful black and white graining in the quartz countertops throughout. The kitchen is a true chef's kitchen with a sink in the island and an oven, gas stove and microwave right behind. On the other side of the island is the large kitchen sink with windows overlooking the wrap around deck. The large refrigerator is off to the side with a built in coffee bar and plenty of cabinet space for groceries. There is a sliding glass door that leads you straight out to the deck where you can access the gas grill and outdoor dining table.

Open from the kitchen is the great room with high ceilings, modern decor and a large smart TV. Gather the whole family at night to play cards around the multiple couches or enjoy a movie. While there is dining space at the kitchen island as well as outside on the deck, there is also a round dining table that seats 6. Behind the dining table you'll find the 2nd guest bedroom that contains 2 twin beds, a smart TV, closet and the third great ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom contains a shower / tub combination which is ideal if you're bringing your kids on vacation. The 4th and final bedroom is located up the spiral staircase off the dining room. There you'll find 2 more twin beds, a closet and a smart TV to enjoy.

Just when you think this house has it all, there is a large screened in porch off the dining room as well. Enjoy sitting out on the porch with beautiful lagoon views. The porch has comfy furniture and fans to help cool the space in the summer months. A door leads you out to the wrap around deck. The deck is large and wraps around the entire back and side of the house. There is a gate on the deck so pets and children can not go down the stairs without unlatching it. Down the back steps of the porch you'll find the backyard that backs right up to the beautiful lagoons. Lagoons can best be enjoyed by sitting on the rocking chairs on the upper porch.

While Sweet Carolina does not have private outdoor facilities, the neighborhood of Carolina Place does have incredible community facilities. Walk 0.2 miles down the road, bike over or park your car in the parking lot to enjoy the large community pool within Carolina Place. The pool has outdoor grills to enjoy and plenty of seating for the whole family. Yes, there is even a community hot tub. Looking for racket sports? Carolina Place also has 3 tennis courts and 2 pickleball courts for you to use during your stay at no extra cost!

Let's talk about location for this house. Wondering how to get to the beach? There are many options for you. 0.7 miles away (4 minute bike ride) is a large parking lot for the free Sea Pines Trolley. This lot is on the Red Line which takes you to Lawton Stables, Harbour Town, Sea Pines Beach Club and Sea Pines Golf Club. The trolley runs 7 days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If you plan to bike to the beach yourself, it is 2.2 miles to the closest Sea Pines beach access and you're only 2.6 miles to Coligny Plaza with shopping, dining and public beaches. Sweet Carolina's location allows you all the benefits of staying inside of Sea Pines but the convenience of accessing the incredible restaurants just outside the gate. You are 1.4 miles to Marley's Shack, Park Plaza Cinema, the "Triangle" of bars, Harris Teeter's plaza and so much more!

Where is Sweet Carolina located?

Sweet Carolina is located in a neighborhood called Sea Pines. Sea Pines is a 5,000 acre community located in Hilton Head Island. The neighborhood encompasses private communities, a forest preserve, horse stables (1 mile away), PGA Tour golf course, beautiful sandy beaches (2.3 miles by bike, 0.5 miles to Sea Pines Beach Trolly that runs during peak season), two marinas and many shops and dining. Amongst the most well known areas are Harbour Town Marina (2.4 miles away) with the lighthouse and South Beach Marina (4.7 miles away) with the infamous Salty Dog Cafe. Sea Pines is a gated community with a gate fee (1 complimentary pass is included in your stay and more can be purchased through us directly) so those staying in the neighborhood have all the wonders of Sea Pines right in front of them. There's no need to even leave Sea Pines while on vacation!

How do you get around while on vacation?

Bicycles are a popular mode of transportation in Hilton Head. Once you rent through Beachside HHI, you can rent bicycles directly from us and have them delivered to Sweet Carolina upon arrival. Be sure to look up the Sea Pines trolley schedule for your trip. The trolley runs during the peak season and is free to access.

Note: This home is located in a private, gated community.  Gate passes are required for entrance.  Reservations include 1 complimentary gate pass, but additional passes can be purchased directly through us. Sea Pines does restrict the number of vehicles/gate passes per property. Parking is available for 3 vehicles at Sweet Carolina (1 in a garage)

Note: The first pet is subject to a pet fee of $50 per night (up to $350 max), plus tax. You may bring an additional pet for $15 per night (up to $100 max), plus tax.  More than two pets may be accepted on a case-by-case basis; please contact us before booking.

Note: While there is no private pool, there is access to the Carolina Place community facilities. This includes a large pool, loungers, outdoor seating, grills, bathrooms.
